Must-Have Musaengchae / 무생채

‘Tis the season for sweet and crunchy Korean radishes, so it’s time to make musaengchae! This Korean spicy radish salad is a quick and easy substitute for kimchi, and the perfect addition to KBBQ, bossam, or bibimbap! You can’t go wrong with this recipe, so let’s make this all-rounder one to remember!

Ingredients
3 lbs Korean Radish, julienned
4 tbsp Garlic, minced
2 tbsp HAIO Green Plum Syrup
4 tbsp Korean Anchovy Sauce
3 tbsp Roasted Sesame Seeds
5 tbsp Korean Fine Red Pepper Powder
2 tbsp Sugar
3 tbsp Kelp Vinegar
Salt, to taste
4 oz Big Green Onion, chopped
¼ Ginger, minced

Bibimbap
Red Lettuce, shredded
Seasoned Dried Seaweed, shredded
Musaengchae, as preferred
Fried Egg
Cooked Rice
Sesame Oil, to taste
