The hot dog re-invented. Give it a flip for Labor Day! Hot off the grill!
Ingredients (serving 4)
2 1/2 cup pancake mix
1/2cup can corn
1/2cup cabbage, chopped
1/4 onion, diced
1ea pickle, diced
1tsp lemon juice
salt and pepper
1. In a mixing bowl, mix with milk and egg, shift pancake mix and combine with milk mixture, make batter.
2. Drain can corn and mix diced onion, pickle and chopped cabbage in a small mixing bowl. Add mayo and lemon juice, salt and pepper.
Cut sausages half way in diagonal, and grill.
3. Heat up a pan over low heat and pour one ladle of batter, when it has little bubbles, flip it and layer with a slice cheese and sausage.
Fold it like a taco and cook for little bit more to shape.
4. Top hot dog with corn mixture. Drizzle with ketchup and mustard! Enjoy!
