Pizza gets a kimchi makeover. Give pizza pizzazz to prove Kimchi does go great with everything!
1 pkg pizza dough
1/4 cup butter
2 cups sliced kimchi
2 cups tomato sauce
1tbsp minced garlic
Topping : bacon, onion, baby spinach, mozzarella cheese, pepperoni
*Preheat oven to the degrees says on the your pizza dough package.1. To make the sauce, put ¼ cup of butter onto medium heat pan. Add 2 cups sliced kimchi when the butter is half melted. Stir-fry it little bit, then add 1 tbsp minced garlic and sugar.
*Before putting sauce, save some kimchi for topping!2. Add 2 cups tomato sauce into the pan, stir-fry them about 5~10 minutes more. The harmony of kimchi and tomato sauce is amazingly perfect! It’s very flavorful, savory, sweet and little sour.
3. Unroll pizza dough into an 12-inch pizza pan. Roll in the edge evenly. Spread the sauce onto the dough.
4. Top with bacon, onion, baby spinach, mozzarella cheese, kimchi and pepperoni. You can substitute toppings with anything you like!
5. Bake the pizza following your dough package direction until the crust is golden brown.
6. Cut pizza and garnish with some arugula and parmigiano-reggiano cheese. Enjoy the deep flavor of pizza and cheeses stretch unlimited!
